The director of police services, Eugene V. Del Gaizo, was present to answer questions. Alex Kavlakian,
owner of an 8-month-old, male gray and white Caucasian Shepherd, License #790, and an 8-month-old, female, gray
and white Caucasian Shepherd, License #791, was present. As of June 6, the Arlington Police Department had
responded to 25 calls from neighbors complaining of barking from the residence since the beginning of the year.
The director recommended that the owner be required to place the dogs indoors between the hours of 9 p.m.
and 6 a.m. unless supervised. Mr. Lyons moved to approve the recommendation of the director and requested that a
report be given in six months on the matter. SO VOTED" |
